Well, what an 'experience'. Was asked by my boss to take a letter that had to be delivered in Gloucester for mid-day today. Unfortunately, the 1.6 Focus was not available. Just a 1.2 16V Silver special edition clio. had alloy wheels, CD player, E/W etc - but no fooking air con which is a joke.
Now i know its only a 1.2 and i know that you shouldt expect a lot from a car in such a price bracket but this thing was hillarious!!!! It was sloooooooooow, loud, thrashy, it knocked like there was no fookin tomorrow and dont even get me STARTED on the rediculous clutch opperation, the fact that the pedal pad came off as i was pulling away from a junction and stereo speakers made out of twiglets and newspaper. Im sorry, but i absoloutely refuse to drive it again - no offence meant at all to those of you who have these and cherish them as im sure they are loveable cars when you 'own' one. But never, ever again will i drive this thing.
I need a drink...................................or a sedative.................or hammer
