 lol. a k&n replacement filter in the airbox. could be the start of a slippery slope. car has new 172 cup shocks and eibach springs just fitted, but this is my first mod since i bought it couple of weeks ago. so what next, matched inlets and a decat?

Matched inlets and decat sounds like a good plan mate, what exhaust are you running? Have a word with JMS about the inlets.

Unknown? Does it fit right? If not its probably a K-tec. As long as its 2.5" bore and its been welded (assuming its a custom system) by someone with half a clue im sure its fine! :D

Fair enough, a de-cat would change that though, the standard 172 cat restricts the noise a fair bit so if you wanna keep it quiet id keep it in or get a sports cat, silienced de-cat are bs btw, I had one and it wasnt any quieter than my straight through pipe.

i think the gains from the inlets make it the next must do mod tbh, from what iv read on here the ph1 inlets are the worst of the bunch so a nice ported set should make it a worthwhile mod.
