Just had the 182 dynod...

  Audi TT 3.2 V6
Really pleased with my results. 189.1bhp and 177.1 lbft torque. Another 182 there also achieved an impressive 186bhp. Mapped meggy's however only seemed to get around 250ish bhp. The highest result whilst i was there was an R32 which got an impressive 270bhp.

Heres a photo of my graph -

Yeah, i think the rollers were a little generous tbh but its funny how the meggys seemed to read on the low side. The 197's gave a mixed bag as well. Standard low mileage 197 got 203 bhp yet a modded (cammed) 197 only got 206.

Car is standard bar matched inlets, ptfe gaskets and rs tuner map

Ill give TDI a call on Monday and see if they have the at the wheel figure for me unless anyone else who went knows what they were using?

  TVR Cerbera
not a chance of getting 177 ftlbs of torque with them mods! I made 177 ftlbs but with 233 bhp! and mines cammed, itb'd, high comp, etc etc

What had been done to the other 182 that made 186? Does seem very optimistic to me.

Also the torque curve, whats going on there? Id have thought a peak like that would belong on vtec y0 or turbo cars.

It looks like he has gone through the gears as normal...you can see the gear changes through to 4th then he boots it hence the sudden increase..

When do they ever go through the gears on a power run? 1st, 2nd, 3rd steady, into 4th and boot from low revs which is when the graph starts. Or whichever gear it was run in.

that torque curve looks wrong to me.

ITB clio on std 172 mk1 engine made 162.3 lb ft today.

also a std car has much smoother curve..

power seems reasonable, if a little high..

looks possible that the timing is being pulled back by the knock sensor... hence the mountain range shape.

  Audi TT 3.2 V6
I think hes done the run in 3rd as it hit the limiter at 98mph according to the graph. If it were 4th i think it would be closer to 120mph.

The torque curve on the other 182 was very similar to mine. The other 182 had a btb exhaust, yozza decat, rs tuning remap.

That doesnt sound good, would you be able to elaborate a little for me? Possible the map is pushing the car too far?

if there is too much timing in the base map and the car is running into pinking... (det) then the knock sensor will read this and pull the ignition timing back to protect the engine.

Ok, will look into this. Hopefully the other 182 owner will be able to post his map. Im pretty sure his torque curve was very similar. Is it a possibility its down to the dyno/operator?

it should be 4th as well, as thats the closest to 1:1 drive ratio.

if its at full throttle and no wheel spin then it is what the car produces.

std engines (with correct maps) have flater curves... yours dips and then increases before the limiter.

Guys these rollers are very generous tbh, and no at the wheel figures were given out

To put things in perspective my off colour 172 i made 192bhp today compared to 176 on Paul Murrays rollers (RStuning)

Torque was 169lb/ft

One of the lads from TDI told me that a standard civic type R (latest shape) puts up 212bhp on these rollers. will post up my results later

;) Have to take mine there, on that basis i'll get over 250 bhp......
