Just noticed this on my brakes

Should my brake disc have this large indent in the edge of it?

If yes why?....... If no, should i be worried?

as its a rotating mass as a wheel is then discs are balanced this is just where the disc has been balanced so it doesnt vibrate, nothing to worry about

cheers loony, i just hadnt noticed it before.

Makes sense now youve cleared things up, never even concidered that brake discs would need balancing too.

you might find the other doesnt have one at all or might have an even more noticeable one. wheels always end up with different numbers or wheel weights on when balanced so dont worry about it

yeah, the other side hasnt got one at all which was what made me question it really.
