Hei!

After a week of not having a car and looking at, then falling in love with the looks and gadgets of a Ph2 RS 172 I picked mine up today for £2600.

Black,
70,000 miles,
No mods to state other than a stainless steel exhaust from the manifold?
Leathers,
Just had a service and had all belts replaced =]
The basic stuff really.

Just gonna clean it up a little but got a new mods in mind, simple things to come in the next few weeks such as wipers, full detail, putting some CS stickers on it when they come along with the tax disk holder etc =]



Any other mods I should look at doing? Looking at coilovers, Turbines in white and slight bit of smoothing to go on in the future but not for a while due to funds! Only 20 so I'm a bit pooor due to University and now this 172 haha...

Edit: ... Just realised you're the owner of a shelf in Kent but I go back to Stafford tomoz... If I cant get one in the next few weeks I'll see about a cruise n down to sunny Kent! Haha...

Not turbines? How come I think they look rude as! Silvervisions are? I do need to order some new side repeaters, they all the same for al models? Can't find 172 specific ones on eGay... New style rs badge, as n under Renault on the rear? And the cup spoiler and splitter are a dream but they are like £300 for the two aint they?

Silvervisions are the silver indicator bulbs, the indicators are the same on all mk2 clios yeah, the renaultsport badge on the 197 and ph2 meganes, cost just under £40 though (I just ordered one for my megane). I personally don't think the turbines suit the mk2, but it's your car of course.

Yeahh I looked at buying a set of them bulbs actually, de-tango the headlights. Infact I'm gonna order some now!
Also, had a look at the badges. Will probably do that, do they have the same pin locations cause I think I saw someone removed the rear badge and it has locating holes. Correct me if I'm wrong though!

Are there many splitters that go on the 172 bumper? Just untill I find a spare £120 for a splitter... haha.

Have a search but i think there is a skoda one peaople are using, around £20, doesn't look quite as good as the oem splitter.

Yeah I seen a few on eBay. I'd rather save and buy an actual cup one though... Are they all CF?
