K&N induction cone vs. PH1 airbox

When I take the CAFs off my airbox the car seems to really bog down at low RPM. Feels a lot better with the CAFs attached.

I have 1 CAF attatched to my ph2 with ph1 airbox because I'm a boss.

mine doesnt bog down at all, still got half the caf attached to the front grill pointing up to the airbox though.,

Sounds like somethings wrong if the CAF's state of attachment causes bogging down.

exactly. why does the itg maxogen not have any caf? because it doesnt need it, plenty of cold air from behind the headlight. the noise is worth it alone anyway without the caf, sounds great, nice gruff growl which gets louder and angrier as the revs rise!

That's why I have 1 CAF. Best of both worlds (and because my ph2 only comes with 1 ).

They have 2 you nub. the other is UNDER the airbox

That's been removed then! I never had a standard airbox remember.

I know mine seems to fly with the 57i on now the temps have dropped a lot, I've a big dirty CAF behind the headlight and personally i think it sounds great inside and outside when the car comes towards you. Havent tried the V6 airbox yet but i've got a few plans i want to do with the K&N
