K & N type air filters - Hesitant/juddery performance?

Would fitting the standard airbox solve this problem I have? Ive taken my valver into a garage twice already and he can't find a thing wrong with the engine, the only thing he can think it may be is the K & N filter - can they sometimes cause problems? It isn't always juddery/ hesitant, maybe alightly worse when cold but it is pretty random.

Sounds like heat soak mate. The car will draing in warm air when under load which is causing the juddering. It must be getting really hot for it to be doing it in this weather though.

Try your standard airbox for a week.

It's usually worse from cold, but pretty random. Sometimes comes near stalling from setting off
