SEEN K-TEC'S 172 TURBO YESTERDAY IN WESTON SO ME BEIN IN MY TURBO AND HIM IN HIS WELL IT WAS BOUND TO HAPPEN. ONE THING DID MAKE ME LOL WAS WHEN WE WAS PASSED EACH OTHER IN MCDONALDS SOME KID IN A ROVER 214 BEHIND HIM HAD THE CHEEK TO SAY I BET HE WISHED HE HAD A K-TEC CLIO. SO I HAD TO LET THE DUMP VALVE OPEN ON MINE. TO HIS SHOCK IF FACE DROPED:rasp: . SO WHEN WE DID HAVE IT OUT IT WAS QUICKER THEN MINE BUT NOT A LOT IN IT AND ROUND THE ROUNDABOUTS IT LOOKED LIKE THE HANDLIN WAS CRAP I WAS RITE ON HIM;) . I THINK BB 172 TURBO WOULD WOOP THE ASS OF K-TECS:quiet:

It would be good to see a comparision between the two companies turbo conversion. I've heard the BB kit has a crap manifold on it? How is thr K-tec one?

A few too many 'add ons' on that car for me but looks like their kit is working well enough..

Yea it sounds nice but looks a bit to much for my likes but id like to see bb and k_tec ave it out on a track

the k-tec clio looks horrid. That bonnet is a no no! but eating a scooby gets it off the hook in my opinion! :)

k-tecs did look pretty quick at fcs but id favour bb for total performance none of this fancy pants styling straight forward power houses;)

im biased but id say bbs is best.but i did see k-tecs turbo a few times before! looks a nice conversion! lots of pipes and i like the big intercooler!

True :o

It's an impressively quick demo car at that, had the chance to drive it, ended up buying a cup and turbo'd that.
Wanted a relatively light motor with plenty of BHP to give it a good power to weight ratio. After owning a R5 turbo for a couple of years and fancied something more modern but with that kick and grin you get from owning a turbo'd motor, this ended up being the solution for me, with keeping it standard it's a street sleeper and shocks the hell out of some people. Not everyones bag but hey it makes me grin every time i squeeze the throtle and the boost kicks in.
Not running as much boost as the k-tec motor but for an every day drive it's quick enough, thats for sure.

for a company putting it's excellance to show, it looks shockingly poor. chav mobile looks, it's a good job it ate the scooby, at least it goes well.
