... he needs to chill out with the modding thing..lol. Im very interested in this Turbod version by K-Tec... keep hearing of peoples concern for reliability, which puts a bit of a dark cloud over the idea. Sure K-Tec will do a fine job tho!

The issues that jump to mind straight away are:

Pistons, Clutch, Gearbox, Exhaust

Thats even before the turbo.

Dont get me wrong would love to have one but im sure reno will bite the bullet soon enough and chuck the 225 lump in the clio. :D. probably at the same price of the 182 aswell

Surely it would be cheaper to DIY the 225 lump into a 182? Or am i just being silly.

Id like to think the engine itself and the turbo will be reliable as everything surely will have been modded accordingly to the state of the tune and boost pressure etc, Personally Id be a bit concerned about the clutch, gearbox and driveshafts. Suppose the clutch could be upgraded but cant see what they could do to the driveshafts, surely the std ones wont like 260bhp and whatever torque is thrown at them
 


Its a pity we never heard anything back from the Brazilian guys that came on here first and told us about it. It be interesting to hear how the clios theyve turbod are holding up, must be getting on to a year or so since they had it done. Wonder if they are still in one piece or are a lump of very expensive metal on the garage floor.

Roamer = std clutch, its ok, works fine, can over heat occasionally

im a total novice with engines / turbos etc, but cant you get a GTT at 20 Psi easy peasy??
