K-Tec 'Dog Bone' Mount Bushes

Are they any good? I get big style banging when accelerating, i know my engine mounts are on their way so illreplace those but also noticed these bushes on K-Tec site

I read on here that they make the issue worse due to actually working, the point being, they are supposedly putting more stress on the other mounts. Not sure if it's true as I don't think K-tec would sell a product if this were the case as there is no proof....just words. Have one fitted to mine and am still on original mounts but only got 16.5k on the clock.

Itl be the gearbox mount under the battery banging mate, almost certain. Ive got the ktec dog bone mount on mine and other bushes are fine, works well.

I had the same issue with my 172, banging under heavy acceleration.. to the point were if I kept it floored it would jump out of 1st gear !!

I fitted the k-tec dogbone mount and it solved the banging completly. However, you will notice a lot more vibrations through the car when idling. Had the dog mount in my car for about 2 years without any problems with the other mounts.
