They're sh1te mate, they glaze over really badly. Had them on the 172 when i got it, and when i took them off the car they were glazed like hell - awful pads imo.

well can any1 recomend soem fairly cheep mk1 pads? better then standard but none of this 100 pounds bullshit. cheers

EBC GreenStuff dude not too expensive good pads too, ive been running them for a while do the job well enough!

Maybe you didn't bed them in properly?

I've found that the k-tec pads perform at least as well as oem pads with far less brake dust. No issues with glazing here.

Nah Neil, they just didn't perform. I even scrubbed them, but they glazed over again. In the end I took them off for OE pads.
