Opinions needed,

K-Tec Stealth is £313 delivered

Prospeed is £312 fitted

I'm confused about whether i should get the K-Tec and fit it myself or drive the 220 mile round trip and go to Prospeed. Basically, a morning in my garage and save £40 on fuel or a day out in Cardiff and pretty much 3/4 of a tank of fuel gone.

What would you do?

depends weather u want the stealth look or the recessed look really. Also prospeed can do a 2.25 system instead of 2.5inch which will cut down the noise on motorway driving, and imo would be a better bet on a near standard engine.

Prospeed do offer a Stealth look, i've read enough about the K-Tec Stealth to know that it offers the sound i'm after. Near standard on normal driving but with a nice sound when you boot it

K-Tec Stealth ordered for £313.95 delivered. I would have loved to get a custom exhaust from Prospeed but i really can't justify a drive to Cardiff, adding on fuel, lunch and shopping money, when the K-Tec exhaust gets such good reviews.

Sorted.

I know a custom would be better but all the people on here who recommend K-Tec exhausts can't be wrong, can they? lol

How old is your stealth?

I really am relying on K-Tec delivering early this week though as i need a new exhaust fitted by next weekend

Good choice going with ktec stealth i'm really happy with mine. I'd check your exhaust hanger as if its never been changed you might need a new one.

I changed my rear exhaust mount about 6 months ago and it's already on it's way out. I'm gonna use the guide on here to modify it with the socket pieces and cable ties
