k-tec recessed exhaust fitted

received my ktec 2.5" recessed system today, fitted it this morning.

the fit is 100% perfect one of the easiest systems ive ever fitted even cutting the bumper was easy considering it was my first time thanks to the instructions and pictures.

took it a test drive and wow, it sounds amazing, slight burble at idle, deep sporty tone when going for it and around town you can hardly hear it (unlike my old powerflow on my 1.2!)

no their is instructions and pictures, you measure 16" from the corner of the bumper and thats the centre of the surround, 14" and 19" is the outside of the surround, i measured the 14" and 19" marks then drew around the surround, cut it out and then a bit of jiggery pokery and it fitted perfectly

id say about 3 hours to remove old one, fit new one, cut bumper, adjust it etc its not the easyest job on axel stands lol!

and yeah decat next when i get a 182 manifold

its transformed the car, pulls harder, feels quicker, flys through the revs

no its actually stayed fairly consistant. i was out in my mates dad VXR nurburgring and it got me wishing the exhaust was a little louder and popped on overun. but its not boy racer which is good anyway. so im happy enough!

surprizingly easy lol i thought the bolts at the joint between centre section and cat were never gonna come off but gave they a spray of WD40, 5 minz later tried to get them off and they came off fine, were totally rusted too lol

i took loads of pics so ill put a guide up on friday when im off

of course its not ment to sit so low its not in the rear hanger in the pics, they were taken during fitting!
