Breaking 172 NV676
I have a sport stealth fitted to my 172 cup. I am in the process of swapping the middle section for the unsilenced one.
I removed mine today, but was slightly confused on the way it was fitted.
The cat connected to a short piece of pipe, about couple of inches long using a flange joint. The k-tec system then went over the top of this small section and used a normal U bolt to connect.
Is this the way they are supposed to be connected? The exhaust pre-dates my ownership and the guy Im swapping with thinks his middle section has a flange joint, so all in all I am a little confused.
Anyone shed any light?
