Key doesnt always work...

Does it only work from a short distance?If so mines the same i tried changing the key fob battery and it made no difference.

it doesnt matter how far away from the car i am, sometimes it just doesnt work and i have to press it loads of times before it opens/closes

Mine did the same, changed battery and class now.

take it apart and be very carefull fixing it. It will cost you upwards of £140 to get another.

How do u take the key apart / put it back together as mine does the same

if you take the battery out dose it have to be recoded back to the car? dose it reset it?

Not if you replace it quickly.If its left with no battery for a certain amount of time it needs recoding iirc.
