Today I got quoted £140 for another key for my clio

I need another one because I only got 1 key with the car, so its just a precaution really.

Anyway, is there anywhere else where I can get hold of another key for alot cheaper than that?

Nope, the immobilser is built into the key, and as such has to be programmed by Renault. Dealers do vary with their prices however so it may be worth asking another!
