Knocking noise, Could it be an engine mount???

I have been experiencing a knock from the front end over rough ground.

When driving to work I was rolling along in second gear and I accidentaly popped the clutch, The knock happened. So on and off the clutch I go and each time the knock occurs.

I have physically shaken the engine myself but cannot hear a noise or find excessive play.

Any ideas folks?

Spund like possible swing mount to me, The dog and bone one as referred to on sports, Even swinging it with your hands wouldn't really show that up! Get under it with a bar and have a poke about !
