KTEC Recessed - New Exhaust Problem

Hey All

I fitted my K-Tec Racing Recessed Exhaust System today.


All went good but got a rattling problem.
When the engine is warm and its on tick over, I get a bat rattle from the rear left side.
At first I thought it it was the back box mount, but not sure, what do you think? Should I get a new one?


Also, my cat rattles inside too, has anyone used the Sports Cat from KTR?

is it a tinny noise?? could be the heat shield by the backbox

sports cats are they way forward

Id pack that mount with something.

What about a decat?

Im not sure how a decat works or where to get one from really. Plus on the product page of that sports cat they said the 1.2 ran 'erratically' when decatted. Anyone got any idea where i can get a decat or has anyone got one on their 1.2?

As for the rattling, i think the join between the middle section and rear section needs a few spot welds as i think its moved!

As said check the heatshield as mine sits a little bit loose over the top of the backbox (same exhaust with sport cat)

Oh and get some old sockets to support the arm in the rear mount - keeps it from dancing around and also snug into the recess.
I used an 18mm and a 12mm in mine to keep it in the position I wanted it
