That's cheap Rob. I'm confused though, as Ktec are still intimating that they're offering these units for the cheapest price:

The supply of this kit is limited in quantity at a price that cannot be beaten! Get yours quick!

If these are seemingly being sold on ebay for a best offer price of £160 delivered, I'm perplexed how the Ktec price of £248 delivered is meant to be cheaper. Surely that's around 35% more? Am I doing my sums wrong? :S

Check with the Ebay seller as these coilovers were apparently produced in both 60mm(182 Cup packed)/54mm bolt spacing.

Ktec say that raceland are ceasing production. I wonder if raceland would be up for a last production run for a CS group buy lol!

i think k tec are the only guys aloud to sell these in the uk , hence why they dont stay on the net long as k tec must lose trade from it , same as with there vibra techniks mounts , they wont sell to anyone apart from k tec for clio mounts !!

However, adding another 25% or whatever is just pathetic. Wasnt the extra cost to justify a uk warranty? One that ktec can't guarantee anymore, making the extra cost now almost unjustifiable.

I can understand why people get annoyed when K-Tec post a "last of line" sale stating they've bought all the stock - and then the same thing is on ebay cheaper
But come on!! The kit is utter crap - it's cheaper than replacing the standard clio shocks so effectively you're all buying a well handling car and downgrading the suspension. Ace.

This is correct, they make it as difficult as they can for Uk resellers on a number of products

You're forgetting that 90% of people on this forum buy coilovers to LOWER the car, with no consideration what it does to the handling.

I'd bet money that Ktec were involved with the development or even requested the parts to be made. Why not protect their interests? Why develop a product and let your competitors have it too? To be honest its common sense in the business world.

You'd be losing money then. The racelands were available on ebay 18 months ago. Loads of people bought them (me being one of them for £160 delivered). They then disappeared from ebay and KTEC accounced their "exclusive deal" and the ebay seller was no longer allowed to sell them in the UK. KTEC whacked a 25% markup and sold them with a warranty. Cue lots of pissed off people.

They are all the same kits anyway!

I have closely inspected the V-Maxx kit and the Raceland kit, both next to each other at the same time and found them to be far from identicle, I take it you have as well but found them to be exactly the same?

Well we must be making it up about Raceland then as you cannot find any information. They are hardly going to announce it if they are trying to sell off their remaining stock.

Now for the people who do not see fit to question everything we do, or post I will give a more details reply below about how the Raceland coilover stock came about.
