Laptop Help

Ok so i am looking for some RAM but have no idea where to get it from for my specific laptop as its quite old.


I also have a fault with the screen, the connector that goes between the screen and the motherboard is faulty as i cant move the screen with out it going white or getting a blue fuzz on it, does anybody have any ideas on this ?

The current spec is as follows.

Hp Pavilion ZT 1000 series

P4 Mobile 1.5 Ghz Processor
512Mb RAM
40 GB Hard Drive
DVD/CDRW Drive


I would like to have 1024Mb of RAM if its possible ?

And get the screen connector fixed.

Think crucial (www.crucial.com) have a memory thingy on there. Put in the make and model of ur laptop and it will come back with the correct memory it will take. As for the connector, bar taking it apart and checking the connection doubt there's much u can do.

Two slots for SDRAM expansion (SODIMM, PC-133) up to 1024 MB (2x512MB).
133-MHz RAM bus.

Two of those will do it. You can probably get it elsewhere cheaper, but thats the correct speed etc.
