Le Mans 2014

Bleu Nord is f**king fantastic if you like freezing cold showers and pikeys.

Sounds like Houx Annex... No power and was like the Somme last year there with a huge muddy hole in the middle which Budgie and I found late Sunday night...

Was this after you brought the exhaust next to my head and revved to 6500 rpm.

You're lucky we're friends or I'd have put my boot through your face.

Yes.. Lol :) we went for a razz in Houx Annex, took a right into the open space in the middle. Turns out it was empty for a reason... We got about 6m and then stuck. No pushing or reversing could get us out. Luckily a random van with a rope appeared and they towed us out... F*ck waking the angry Cornishman Sir_Dave or Ollie to ask for a hand!!

"Wakey Wakey, bearcub!"

*bounces it off the limiter*

Were sharing with the Aston Martin club on bleu nord afaik, wifi, big screen, cooked breakfasts and evening meals included etc...

Having not drunk alcohol in the last 5 months i better get match fit for this or i could be missing a lot!

I'm out on Saturday night if you fancy it.

Carnage! Last year was pretty poor for drinking! This year will be a lot better.

We will make up the that this year!

That and the burnout were my highlights :)

I was surprised you didn't reverse into the tent tbh

What size tent should I buy? Any reccomendations for an easy one to pop up etc. 2 man tent looks like it should be ok.

Also air bed reccomendations.

Lol! Jesting aside, I'd recommend a tent with both room to sleep and room to store stuff, so a two man may get a little tight. Also, a decent numerical padlock (not key as you will lose it) that is small enough to go through the zips on a tent. :)

We normally have 8 people in a huge 10 man tent, with a central area for fridge etc, and a gazebo.

this tent is ideal, as it has the front bit for storage / beers ;)

You have to think about how many tents on your pitch. If there are more than 4 of you on the pitch, individual tents won't work, better to get a shared, larger one.

FLOL. We padlocked ours - someone knifing a tent open is a little more obvious than someone calmly wandering in as if it's their tent!

It will be a cider stash this year @Nick172Cup - and I have to bring my own 'special' bread. Coeliac disease sucks.

Tents are for fags...

You lot staying in a wigwam or something?

We've got this 12 man tent, 3 external sleeping pods, with a beer storage area in the middle. Have a gazebo as well, doesn't help when it rains sideways however, which it does at Le Mans a lot - usually half way through putting the tent up, & on the last night, so its soaking wet when you put it away. Single airbeds from Tesco for £10 each, & a communal ciggy lighter powered air pump. My sleeping bag is a cheapy ones from years ago, i just put more clothes on if i get cold. And fart more.

I'm trying to persuade Sam to leave the tent and merc at home and take my Vivaro instead! f**k your tents. Solid, warm, safe, and no packing away at the end which is the worst part!

Daniel - if you are taking something other than a standard shaped & sized car then let me know ASAP cos I'll need to amend the booking to make sure you can get on the ferry.

We left the tent there first year... After pulling it to bits with Tom's Lolvo and throwing stuff at it. Dragged mike away before it was introduced to fire...
