Leaking washer bottle MKII 172

Can anyone tell me how to get to the washer bottle pipes.

Ive filled it up but next time i went out it still wasnt working, when ive looked in the bottle again its empty.

I am guessing a pipe has come off somewhere cos i can here the motor going.

This is very common, do a search on the forums

It will be cracked around the seal (if its the same as every other 172) The wipers need to come off to get to it, most people have had this replaced by a dealer under warranty

Yep mine was leaking last week, just take it to renault and theyll fit a new bottle for you they did mine in less than an hr.

mines going back to the dealer next week for its 2nd washer bottle. God knows why they keep cracking. glad its still under warrenty.

just wondered the cars that have had to get them replaced, do you use the washers- a bit- alot - somewhere in between?

I use mine a fair bit. Do all my driving mainly early am or fairly late evening.

Cant see what can cause it to leak as theres nothing else in that area.

Yip ! Common problem and my MKII 172 is booked in for next Thursday to have the water bottle replaced. Annoying !

could it be something to do with having large amount of water being pumper through for the headlights too?

Ive never used my washer bottle since I got the acr, so hopefully mine wont start going wrong.

Ive used mine a fair bit but had no isses with it yet. Havent had the dreaded headlamp washer ball incident yet either.
