Leaky selector

The leak from my gear box selector seal has become ridiculous, I cant decide whether to buy a good secondhand box and swap it, get it out and repaired or wait for it to go pop. The latter will take a long time as I barely drive it but the trails it is leaving on my drive is getting annoying.

As it's so bad would the Febi repair part be a good interim measure?

I would only suggest replacing the seal.
That’ll mean the gearbox has to be stripped and prob end up being a refurb while your there .
Weigh up costs of that vs a second hand box I guess.

Get the box rebuilt, most 2nd hand gearboxes will be of similar drippy seal
