Leaving C5/C1 to bake on....

Car  Not a 320d
So if I applied C1 or C5 to my RIMZ and just left without removing residue what would happen?

Thinking of longevity.....

I have applied C1 to my alloy wheels on the clio and it seems to be working well. I didnt remove the residue.

Obv it will be visible but to me it doesnt appear so on teh wheelz.

Left it too long on plastics and they grey'd. Water behaviour hasn't been that good but is still working 16months on

I left old C5 on for far too long. Nightmare to buff off but it was certainly still there when I re-sealed the following autumn.

Actually, I now realise I'm offering zero advice in this post :|
