leaving mail on the server

Just got a lappy and what i want to do is when i send and recieve mail with my pc i wont the mail to be deletd off the server so that it dont get downloaded again but with the lappy when i send and recieve i want them to stay on the server.....like when you send and recieve on a phone.

Is this possible?.....If so how do i go about doing this?

Yes it is possible. What email client are you using and is it pop3 or imap?

Yea pop3 and using outlook

Oh aye. In Outlook goto
Tools - Send/Recieve - Send/Receive Settings - Define Send/Receive Groups (or press CTRL-ALT-S).
Edit the account. Click Account Properties and select the Advanced tab. There should be a tick box that says "leave messages on the server"
