Legal Exhausts

Hey guys can any one tell me if its a legal requirement to have a rear silencer, bcos i was considering cutting of the rear box and adding just a straight pipe...but i dunno if its the law to have one...i kno its probably obvious but its nice to kno lol

If you removed the rear silencer you wouldn't be able to live with the noise , try it and see Plus you'd soon get pulled by the police for noise pollution .

there is a 182 ive seen on here that has no silencers or backbox, straight through with decat too IIRC.........cant remember where the thread was with the video

Pfft what do you need an exhaust for, take everything upto the manifold off....

Needs the cat for emissions

I did run my 1.6 8v with no exhaust for about 3 days... Performance dropped substantially and was horribly loud
