Lg flatron "power saving mode"

Hello i am currently trying to connect my tv to my laptop and everytime i change to the tv goes into power saving mode immediatly. Seems to be a popular problem according to google but i cnt find a solution, all connections are correct i downloaded the drivers etc but they only said windows xp onwards and im running windows 7 may this be a problem. Are there any plugins i should have.

ok the laptop is detecting it as plugged in

LG M2262D(Analog)

And is saying the device is working properly when it is not.

Ok just done toruble shooting thing and it has now showed up it is not working and has displayed

coprocessor no driver found
base system device no driver found

base system device no driver found

SORTED basically i had to update and reinstall most drivers on my laptop as they where all out of date since i upgraded to windows 7, downloaded them all online from retailer.
