Light scratch on windscreen

After giving the car a once over at the weekend I noticed a light scratch on the exterior windscreen. It must have been caused by grit or dirt trapped under windscreen wiper as its a nice semi circle .

Can anyone recommend a nice product to remove the scratch?

I'v got these scratches too but I was told that that stuff (well glass polish) wouldnt work.

I have a scratch the whole length of the drivers side wipers swipe lol.

Ain't getting it out, just get a new screen.

Right might just give one a go and see what happens. Its not that bad it just annoys me because I know that its there.

I've got one on the inside of my screen where we knocked it and it wont shift. Most insurance companies have a very low windscreen excess which wont affect your NCD, so if it affects the vision you could argue it would fail you an MOT and get a brand new screen for about £50.

Most glass polishes/kits deform the glass in removing the defects, best of changing the screen in most cases,

www.frost.co.uk do sell a glass polishing kit to use on a drill if you do fancy trying it.

It’s not that bad that I would fail a mot or would impair my vision, it’s just a case of me liking my car in good condition. I may just try a light glass polish.

Or u could just crack the windscreen and say it must av been kids playin football instead of *****ing about saying it will be an mot failure
