limewire?

just wondering if anyone has any idea why my computer wont find any tunes to download now?, just had the computer wiped, and iv reinstalled the program.

it keeps saying it cant find an incoming port, iv checked with my firewall settings and it has limewire as allowed too!

You might need to open the correct ports for your computer to ''listen'' to. Check their help forum for details.

gotta love this man!

My linux box is giving me s**t atm, setting up a samba share. First time in 6 months I've cursed the computer. I'm on an XP macine atm looking for an answer to somthing and its already crashed once and I've been cussing all morning!

BTW: with regards to your original post it sounds like you need to setup port forwarding on your router.

Best bin limewire. It's full of shite! Use uTorrent for downloading torrents and you cant go wrong.

Asurious or Bitlord... Make sure you setup port forwarding on your router.

Limewire is the mecca for crap quality downloads wihout tagging, and deceitful files [files saying they are something they are not] - oh and full of viruses.

Its being a pain in the arse. I seem to be able to view things i.e. docs and pictures on my NAS drive but the bugger wont play mp3s/videos i.e. in windows I have mapped the NAS device as a mapped network drive. I want to do the same thing in Ubuntu but it wont work properly when I "connect to server > windows share".
