Been sent a pair of bullets to paint from a friend who tryed the bluetack method and tbh looks ok but the bluetack is a **** to get off.

Im sure i seen the same method on a guide recently but at the moment i cant seem to find it.

Need to know how to get the bluetack off completely so i can start a fresh on these bullets asap.

Anyone know the link?

Put them in the freezer, the bluetack goes hard and brittle iirc.

For how long? I m only doing it for a friend so i want to try and get it off without damaging any of the paint work first tbh then just give it a coat of laquer so he has more or les done the work.
Failing that i will redo them.

dont think a guide has been done, i suggested using blue tack in this thread and someone posted up a couple of pics of their attempt at it
