LY 182
Soo then, owned the car for 5 days days now already started doing a few things so thought i would get a progress thread up ASAP before i get too far ahead, The car is a 55plate 'full fat' 182 with 3 previous owners which i bought from Luker1990 of here. It had 105k on the clock with more than full service history including the original bill of sale and spec list. The car is really clean in total and has really been looked after, I bought it with a Scorpion RS192 catback exhaust, JMS matched inlets and Eibach proline springs,
some of you may remember my old car which is sadly going back to standard and up for sale,
so here are some pictures Luke sent me before i went and picked up the car.
on the 120mile drive home on friday night the car picked up a miss-fire and was only running on 3 cylinders luckily about 10miles away from my house, Luke did everything he could to try and help as obviously its not what you want from a car you have just sold, after changing the coilpack and plugs on the saturday it was finally fixed which was just a loose connection on the electrical plug on top of injector 4,
parts had already started arriving even before i picked the car up! i had ordered a ktec style induction kit from Auto Silicone Hoses and a ram air filter as advised by Pearse on here,
and fitted
All i can say is WOW it sounds unreal! cant really say i noticed a power increase mostly because i hadn't really drove it much before putting it on, in total the kit cost under £85, makes you drive very heavy footed aswell as it sounds that good!
gave it a quick clean on monday before my drive down to york and fitted some silver visions, and thats it for now!
All crap iphone pictures at the moment, off for a RR day at evo-tune with Ren-Sport on the 7th december so will be intresting to see what it makes as the previous owner wasnt sure if it had already been mapped or not but it hits the limiter at 7250 which i think is standard ?
