Liquid Yellow Clio 182.

Hi, new to this forum. I can get a liquid yellow clio 182 in mint condition, 1 wheel is kerb'd. The car has done 40k on the clock and has every optional extra, A/C, C/C, Xenons, Auto headlights, Auto Wipers, the anthracite alloys, cup suspension. Not sure what else they come with.

Any ideas how much its worth? Thanks.

All those extras you mention are standard fit on a full fat 182, m8. However, the liquid yellow paint job was a £1,200 option when the car was new. Sounds a good purchase. Even better if it had its auxiliary belt done around the 36k mark.

Does look a stunning colour in late afternoon/early evening sun.

i bought my LY which has both cup packs , 27k miles on the clock and completly MINT inside and out , for 8k 2 months ago.

That may have been a little over the odds but i had looked at a few around the 7k mark and the condition was nowhere near the 1 i eventually found and bought. For the money i think i got the best (or one of the best) standard LYs money can get.

Just be careful what you class as ''MINT'' condition.

Get it HPI'd. There was a LY 182 for sale a few months ago for 6.5k that was cat c repaired.

You won't regret buying the LY, it is an awesome colour and certainly stands out in the crowd. As long as I can still afford to, I plan on keeping mine for the logn term.

and as there were only 70ish made, they warrant a little more than any book pricep gives.

Thanks guys. The car is seriously "mint", im big on my car detailing and the paintwork is perfect, only the 1 wheel is badly kerb'd. My mates a clean freak too and he wouldn of bought it if it was in bad condition. It is fully HPI clear, he done it before he bought the car and it was clear.
