Living with a 172

  Not a Clio

im 25

the kids want:

Easy to reach ashtrays to play with and put left over food in.

They want the windows to be in easy reach to wipe their grubby hands on.

They want to be able to reach to kick the seat in front.

They want storage on the back of the seats in front to shove toys and food in.

They want no speakers in the back as it hurts their ears

They want electric windows to play with.

Sod what the kids want.

You get a luggage net to secure the kids in the boot, then you can have a bit of fun without the fear of them rolling around the back seats.

From the sounds of it, you want a transit van lined with matresses so they can bounce around while your driving.

25??????????????

you definitely want the clio - ya young whipper snapper!

my mate with the 172 has 2 kids...Ill get him to post some advice!!

2 years of fun, good mpg, mega reliable, back seats can fit a 6 ft tall bloke on 70 mile commutes dailly (if he sits sidewards though) very comfy, clutch fine even in loads of stop start mway traffic.. would deffo reccommend one. brilliant value at 12k, even better at half the price!!!!1

Simon, I know the roads of Stafford arent blocked up all the time, and there are some really really good roads round there, A34 (minus the speed cameras), the road out of uni towards Uttoxeter, and at night the centre of Stafford isnt jam packed, so take off yer bloody grandad hat, throw away the pipe and buy a mark 1 172!!!

I travel through the centre of stafford at varying times of the day. They are currently closing roads one by one for gas works and resurfacing. last week when the M6 was closed, stafford was at a standstill!

I dont have time for good roads or midnight thrashes, I have a ball and chain that wouldnt be best pleased lol

Commuting I get 32-34 mpg. On a motorway run it can go as high as 40. They are quite big inside, but almost no room at all in the back.
