log in error on windows xp!!!

Every time i turn my PC on now it goes to a user login screen which it never use to do as its only myself who uses the computer. Anyway when i clik on my user it flashes up my back ground and then within half a second it changes to a logging out screen and saving settings. I have tryed safe mode and last known good config but nothing seems to be working. Anyone have any ideas or best places to gte ideas form??

Have you tried Safe mode using the builtin administrator account?

You've got a virus-y thingy that runs a logout command - try using Ctrl+Alt+Delete twice on the logon screen to get the classic logon and type in the Administrator credentials, to see if it's a user shortcut or an all user shortcut.

Failing that, safe mode, or even rebuild.
