Longer brake pedal travel

I've fitted a new 22.2mm cup master cylinder to remove the ABS on my ph1 and it's all bled correctly, no spongy pedal and the brakes are strong. However, the pedal travel is longer than it was. Should it be like that?

Also the ABS light is on (obviously) but I've also got the SERV, STOP and handbrake lights on. How do I get the three latter ones to go out?

Earth the pins on the connector and the light will go out. We did it on the Mk1s when using Ph1 clocks.

Cheers Mr. Fox

Although if I do it to the handbrake light I'll lose that....does the handbrake light go through the ABS module and wiring?

Just do the ABS one and I think you'l find the others will go out... I still had the handbrake one wired up normally in the Mk1 (for MOT etc) and it worked as expected. There was more for us to earth at the time as we didn't have much in the way of what a Ph1 has (airbags, brake pad warning, etc)

The brake fluid level light and handbrake light share the same bulb. I'm guessing the low fluid one goes through the ABS module so will I just need to give the sensor a new 12v feed?

The STOP light is also still on. I tried pin 15 on plug B for that but it doesn't seem to do anything, pin 14 works for the ABS and turns the SERV light off too.

Yeah the low fluid one should go through the plug on top of the cap I think, cant 100% remember where the wires run though. So at the moment is the brake fluid level light on? That will be the cause of the STOP light I think. The STOP light does not have its own trigger, its triggered by another being on

OK, so I guess the 12v feed for that cames from the ABS, and if I give it a new 12v from somewhere (any should do?) then they'll both turn off?
