Look how bad my 182 has leaked :(

Took it into Renault Wednesbury this morning. Its absolutely soaked inside and stinks horrible. I'm 99% certain its coming from under the floor. They have said they gotta keep it for 3 days'ish and while its there i got a 06 reg clio 1.2 campus. Feels so slow! lol

I hope they valet it after they sorted it as it smells that bad.

Anyone else had this problem?

when we have leaky cars come in here, they send them to the body shop once they're fixed and then put them in the paint oven to dry them out and fry the smell out, it should be fine mate...

my 205gti leaked a lot, the sound proofing under the carpet will be totally fucked, make sure they take the carpet out completely to let it dry and put new sound proofing in.

We used to pull the carpets out at BMW, wetvac the b******s then put them in the compressor room to dry off. If they still smelled they used to get replaced.

blocked AC drain, will put money on it... my 172 was identical.....

mine was year 3 warranty... and i had to diagnose it myself. Stripped the car and it was leaking from the back of the blower and the seaping backwards...

Its done it twice now and its only been while driving in heavy rain so i dont think it is anything to do with the air con. Gotta be just a leak.

looky gits. picked mine up yest after they semi diagnosed starting prob (did get warranty steering whell tho) and they wanted to keep it overnight, I said fine gimmie courtesy car and u can. the reply was that the next avail courtesy car is in September !!! They have 5 cars avail every day for approx 45 repairs @ Sunwin derby (my offer to take the 197 demonstrator fell on deaf ears)

Had the same as that on my 172. Was a grommet around the A/C pipes where they come through the bulkhead not fitted correctly.
