Looking after my willy ;o

The nights are drawing in, the tarmac is getting icy.. and the men in wigs aint gonna be letting me drive for much longer

Anyway, its time for the clio to go into storage.. ive got a few little things to do to the car before im ready to put it away, but while im at it if anyone has any advice for keeping my willy in top notch condition while its not being used it would be great.

Thanx all, Bri.

I didnt use my old Valver for three months last winter. My main tips would be to make sure you dont put the handbrake on, cover it and not to run the engine without driving the car (i.e. dont idle the engine; take it for a drive if you switch the engine on). Also, disconnect the battery so that the immobiliser/alarm (if fitted) doesnt blow a fuse if you jump start it.

good to drive the car once a week to stop the wheel bearings from drying up, and to prevent flat spots on the tyres.

I havent driven mine for a while, though i plan to take it for a quick drive every week during the winter so things dont lock up.
