Looking at a 182, cambelt question?

Hello,

Im currently looking at 182's just a quick question really regarding the cambelt. Would I be able to tell ( when test driving ) if the cambelt had been done incorrectly? Other than that, when test driving is there much else I should be aware of, 4 wheels etc
Just want to make sure I get a decent one tis all

you just assume the belt and kit hasnt been done and knock 600 off price

If it has paperwork to support the sellers claims then fine, trust, but if in doubt get it changed.

If it's not been timed correctly then it will be down on power, but you can only check for sure by having the correct tools and checking everything lines up. That's not a 5 minute job.

If it feels quick to drive, then the timing is probably ok, they loose a fair chunk if timed incorrectly...

If there isnt paperwork - knock £500 off the pice
