Looking into Geting my 182 mapped, it's running a full cobra system from a previous owner. Looking for some advice on what I should get before the map

Yes mate, have a search for the hand held rs tuner, you buy the devise and then upload the map via your laptop yourself, its meant to be one of the best mods you can do for the money, you can pick up a second hand one off here for £110 but you will need to pay for an unlock code.

Like others have said best map is the RS Tuner - you buy the RS tuner pay for an unlock code and map then sell the RS Tuner - shouldnt cost you more than £70 for the unlock and map.

So are U better geting a different ecu

it just locks yours to only be mapped by the rstuner. Which means if you decide to get cams or an jms intake you won't be able to get it custom mapped on a dyno.
you would need to replace the ecu if you decided to do that later.

but if you never plan to then the rstuner is fine and the map makes the car behave nicely.

you don't need to replace the ECU after its been mapped by an RS tuner if you go to someone with a bit of knowhow!
