Looking to buy...Advise please?

Hi all - new to this

currently own a Fiat Bravo and looking to buy a cliosport 172, ive found a nice 52 reg black one locally but its recorded CAT D.....

should this put me off? it has 63,000 miles and he's asking 3,000

is that reasonable? what price should i look at? or should the CAT D make me walk away and keep looking?

There are better for the money than a Cat D, but you'll have to spend a shade more. If your budget extends to around 4, then you'll get an alright one IMO.

walk away and keep looking a few hundred more is touching cup (the blue one) money or even a fullfat (xenons,5spoke alloy)

i just hoped for a standard 172 but my budget is 3200 and the money from breaking my bravo will cover insurance...

is it just acase of keep looking?i check eba, pistonheads and auto trader? anywhere else? (apart from on here?)?

check on renault sport forums too but for a few hundred quid more you will probably get a similar mileage one that isnt cat d, hold out for one!
