Looking to return to clio ownership with a 182 FF

  Clio 197
Hi all,

I am looking to move back to getting a 182 FF - i had a 172 cup around a year ago and got rid to scratch my scooby itch, now due to work commitments i am going to be doing more mileage so the clio seems like a sensible option.

I am looking at 182 FF because of the 1/2 leather, cruise control & Xenons (none of which i had previously with my cup).

I will keep scouring the FS section / pistonheads and autotrader :approve:

Hi pete,
done this myself I had a 182cup in 05 and got married etc had a few scoobies Inbetween, recently bought a ff 182 because of the xenons, half leather etc too ... And to be honest performance wise is identical!

Just be careful tho, I thought I had a bargain and have been spending alot on the wee motor since I got it to make things right .
but don't regret it for a minute as they are a car that puts a smile on your face every time you drive them.

^ thanks Steve :) potentially I could
Be doing 15k a year which I don't want to be doing in the scooby, the switch to a 182 with 34 mpg versus 27 in the scoob in itself will save me money annually combined with reduced tax and insurance .....

However part of me thinks just keep the scoob and enjoy it (& pay for it!) and another part of me says go the opposite way and get a high mpg diesel and take the extra mpg as a trade off incase anything DMF etc goes wrong... That will be a more boring option but better on the wallet.. Decisions decisions! 15k a year isn't high mileage in the grand scheme of things hence why I am torn.... Maybe the 182 is the right decision? Haha
