Loose Handbrake :S

Well, Clio has just had its MOT and its noted that the Handbrake is loose, and bloody hell is it loose.

Its pitch black atm so I cant take a good look, but I thought Id ask if this was a common problem and if it just needs some bolts to be tighted.

Am gunna have a butchers at the Haynes manual in the morning, but any advice is welcome.

The car is a 99 T

Just hope the floorpan hasnt rusted I doubt it though.

Have a good look when you can get some good light.

Needs pulling up sh*tloads to be put on properly...

wait did you mean the actual handbrake lever is loose or the hanbrake cable ?

Heh, I meant the actual Handbrake was loose. Its okay though now.

Took off the cover, and tighted the two bolts nuts that held it to the floorpan. Only odd thing is that since then, my exhaust has started ratteling. Had a look and cant see where it could be hitting. But stil very odd if they were connected (Tightening the handbrake and the rattling zaust)
