Clio 182 fitted with one of them cheap arsed £50 short shifters with oem pin. Launched it hard and went to go into 2nd and it hit a wall. Stopped the car and the stick will not go left into 1/2 gate. Can only get 3/4/5.
Checked linkage on ramp, all straight and tight, not rubbing or fouling in anything. Correctly filled with fluid. Is there any type of adjustments that can be made externally or is something damaged inside? If you really force it and wiggle at the same time it will occasionally go into 1/2 gate but then has the same issues going back to 3/4 gate.
