Loud Click noise when braking in reverse

mk2 ph2 1.4. When im reversing then braking im getting a loud single click like a brake pad moving or something from the o/s wheel area, anyone had experience of this, you then hear it click again when you brake in going forward after reversing.
any ideas?

that cud be something to do with the brake pad or the caliper if it happens when you brake i wud say its something to do with the brakes take the wheel off make sure everything is tight
