FF 182
Hi there,
The mechanic has had my car yesterday to take out and put back the PAS pipe that commonly leaks on these 182s. No more leak, however 15 miles after getting her back a loud pop at 5k revs losing all drive, brakes, etc.
The auxiliary belt is still on but part of it has shredded off. No more fire just turnover ignition. Now the belt and half engine bay was contaminated with PAS fluid however he assured me this was nothing to worry about and would simply 'disappear with engine heat'. (He had to take off the belt and put back on during the process of removing the pipe)
The cars with him now but where do I stand with getting this solved? Whats the problem in your opinions? Obviously something he's done as both belts had 2 years and many thousands miles left.
Thank you all in advance
