It's only as good as it's history.

So make sure it's been serviced at least once a year and belt changes have been carried out etc

Id normally be sceptical about a lack of history (assuming it doesnt have any) but its not often you come across a 1 owner from new 172 is it?

its an import which has put me off a little and service history seems to be hit and miss
