Lowered and Engine Pics- Valver

Heres my valver...keep meaning to get on with refurbing my valver alloys in Ford Graphite Grey, before you bollock me for my alloys (I no what you old skoolers are like on here!) Ive done the centre caps, going to get cracking with the wheels this weekend. Anyway heres a few recent pics, hope you enjoy... Anyone up in the north-west? It will be on show at MUKII nr Preston on the 19th June

Any full car pics to get the overall image?

If i were you id get the bump strips colour coded it makes such a difference... makes the car look 5 years newer and can be done easily at little cost DIY

Ive seen a "CLIO" carbon battery cover on ebay for £15. Looks nice, any shots of the whole car?

Ive have old shots of the whole car but when it wasnt lowered there was just something missing I will get some when its cleaned this weekend though. Battery cover just finishes it off I think, wasnt so sure at 1st, but fitted it and it doesnt look to taccy etc.

At the moment its on standard shocks eek! Hate doing bodge jobs etc but it was a rush day job as one of the standard springs snapped! Shopping around for kits at the moment. Its only -35 on Pi springs- im so glad I didnt go -60!

And colour coding the bumpstrips is something I really want to do next, as you say, seems to make a hell of a difference.

Being spraying up Valver wheels this afternoon. Decided against anthracite. Will get pics up of a finished wheel later...

New Pictures today.

Sprayed the wheels-Glazier white I went for in the end, plenty of laquer to make them shine. Its took all day to finish just one. Obviously its taken ages but ive made sure ive rubbed them down properly to begin with and made sure each layer of primer/paint/laquer was really dry before applying the next. This way it shouldnt peel off after a month! Very pleased with the finish of them, pics dont show it up so well. As requested will get some full pics of the car to tomorrow, when shes clean! Hope people like...

Also added some probably very uninteresting for you piccies of the coolant cap (power steering cap is the same)- they are now ford graphite grey and match all the engine a bit better now. *sorry for the essay!*

Bin that K&N they suck....and not in a good way! lol Those Ph2 rims look nice....should improve the ride/handling too. Spotted you at asda a few weeks ago btw car sounds sweet...

ooh you did?- Asda in fulwood by anychance? To be honest I hated K&Ns with a passion, this was on when i got it, and i cant say i can fault it actually at the moment...until funds allow for something better

Ta for comments, handling should be improved greatly on them yeh, so cant wait to get them all sorted and wacked on

Those open filters do sound good...I whack mine back on sometimes just for the noise, but the stnd airbox goes back on sooner or later...

oh great so u saw me in doss mode after work, half in my suit/half not lmfao Great!!! I hope you wernt in that yellow one in your avatar- or im more blind and stupid than i thought i was! i work 2mins from the fulwood asda, so im sure youll see me again sooner or later...unlucky for u!!!

The phase 2s will look mint but the comps are a big nah for me!!!

One of my fav wheels, the Toora platinum 8s got shot at in a thread the other day for being out of date so i dont see why these shouldnt as there years older!!!Lol

Lol...lets start a fight and see! Always wanted Comp Mos when I had my nova Gsi-its just something ive got to do is get a set of these wheels in white, and to be honest I couldnt think of better arches to sit them under than the valver ones.... I need to save a bit though, Mr Compomotive likes to steal peoples money, ..but think it may be worth selling valver wheels and riding on 17s for a few more months to get some slaaaag wheels!
