lowering a 197...

Okay, I posted a thread asking for advice on lowering on springs alone and have decided to go ahead with it (I think!)

I've never lowered a car before and back when I had a 182 I was told it isn't an easy task, but then they could've been talking about coilovers.

The car is only 6 months old and due to my lack of experience I don't fancy tackling it myself.

I know a couple of local garages that might fit them for me, but I was wondering if I'd be better off seeing a professional Renault specialist?

What opinions or experiences have you guys had? :)

Quite a few garages do lowering kits and fit them nowadays. Although i dont think its something you need a Renault specialist for.

I got mine from an independent garage who supplied and fitted them and have been quite happy :) - Make sure you pick the right height adjustment though, I really wish id picked lower springs than 40mm...
