Lowering Clio 60mm on Standard shocks?

As above is this a good idea?

I bought he car lowered but had to get rid of them for insurance now that insurance renewal is due in June (long way away I know). I am gearing up for a rapid transformation of the car in a week. This will include lowering, so what springs are good? and do I need to change shocks? cheers!

Re-Spray on the side after some c4nt keyed it
Re-Spray front bumper
Sport interior

its advised to change shocks if your going over 45mm

People seem to like eibach and cooksport springs on here and no I wouldnt use the standard shocks going that low, they will be fine on 40mm springs but any lower and id get new shocks.. or coilovers.

True, think it was about £150 for my shocks & springs all together, just wish id gone for coilovers now as i wanna go just that little bit lower

Sick, i'll go for them providing the bolt spacing for mine are 52mm, if not i'll go for cheap coilovers

Yes mate I did. Was recommended to change them over for some shorter ones so i did
