Lowering Mk2 clio

I have recently bought a mk2 clio i am looking to lower it with a set of 17" wheels how low can i go?

Very low, depends the offset of the wheels etc but you can go down about 50 with the arches and upto 90 or so before the arches become a problem.
Yopu take the arch liners out tos top them rubbing and then have to seal up what the arches are there to protect.

Would i need the arch liners out dropping it 50mm. The tyre size is 105/40/17. Whats the best sites for clio parts.

You can drop it 60mm and more before you need to touch the arches.
Wheels need to be around ET37 and you shouldn't get any rubbing or anything.
